My system was pumped out last fall, and started to exhibit a slight backup this spring when running the wash while the shower was being used. I had the septic tank pumped out (full), and started applying Septic Scrub to the seepage pit (which was full of water). I've performed 5 applications (1 gallon each time) and have seen the water level start to drop significantly. I'm hopeful that I'll get to 'dry' in another treatment or two (very good drainage area). In the drainfield restoration section of the site, you say: "addition of a good professional biological product after a Septic-Scrub treatment can increase the restoration rate of bacteria growth in the drainfield." What would be a biological product you'd recommend? I was under the impression that addition of Septic Scrub was helping to increase the number of bacteria in my seepage pit - should I be doing anything more than the treatments?
