I am in the process of selling my house and had an inspection of my septic system. The report stated that the drywell has 2 feet of seepage left. The house was built in 1950 and I have lived in the house the past five years. From 1993 to 1997 I had the tank pumped twice. From 1993 to 1994 there were 2 people living in the house with no dishwasher. From 1994 to 1997 there were three people and from 1997 to present 4 people and a dishwasher. I guess my question is, is the seepage level due to not consistently pumping out the tank or, is it due to the age of the septic system. Than you.
