hello; 

I just had my tank pumped and they seemed to think
I had a dead tank. I don't use alot of bleach or
anything like this. I never added anything to it,
however I was wondering if being on TOWN WATER that
is treated with Chlorine would effect the 
bacteria function in my tank. I also checked my
water this morning with a pool kit and the
chlorine level was not showing, however the PH level
was above the 8.2 that the kit said was high. Would
a High PH level effect the bacteria action also?
Please help, what can I do to keep my septic tank
ALIVE AND WORKING PROPERLY...
