After moving to our present house a year ago we have suffered a major problem with our septic tank. Never having one before we feel we are floundering in the dark as to what to do. We live in a high water table district. Our house is next to several fields (not ours). We understand the septic tank was put in with a weaper system which we think runs around the garden (Klargester). Because we had so much rain this time last year and again this year the ground has become sodden and next door have a pool in the middle of their garden which they say comes from our system. Our tank overflowed recently and we had it pumped out and then it overflowed again within a week. Is there anything we can do? If not, is there any alternatives. there are no drainage facilities whatsoever for miles. Also, apart from liquids, we do use toilet paper - is this a problem or should we use some "special" loo paper - please help.
