I recently had an inspection service evaluate my septic system. Septic dye was put in the system and water was run into the system for about 30 min. After running the water the green dye could be seen at a very small area over the finger system. This was during a time of very heavy rain. The inspector says that the dye should not be visable under any conditions. A septic contractor says that some seepage in a finger system is normal and even more so during times of heavy rains. Your thoughts are appreciated.
