I had my septic tank pumped out. As it was being pumped there was a considerable amount of water flowing back into my tank from the septic field (which is approx. 25 years old). The service guys kept pumping the water out until it was down to a little stream flowing back into the tank. They replaced the lids and left. I left the tank unburied so I could keep an eye on it. The next morning the tank had completely filled with water and was seeping out the lids. I rigged up a pump and have been pumping water out of my tank for days now. I live in Michigan where we are currently having a strange February warm spell and I beleive that my septic field is completely saturated. I've got a couple of questions that I hope you can help me with. Is this a common problem at this time of the year, during a big thaw? Do I need to replace my septic field or do you think your product will do the trick?
