I own an animal hospital in Georgia. We board as well as treat dogs and cats. The soil type that the hospital is built on is of poor-quality for drainage. The elevation in only about 9 feet above sea level, with a tidal creek about 200 feet away. The water table is very high. Initially we had two septic tanks and two drain fields. Each field was composed of 50 feet of a black plastic or fiberglass "tube" about 3 feet in diameter called "The Infiltrator". This system failed. I was then told that an aerator system was the answer to my prayers. It is also called a Delta system or whitewater system. This system at least did not have water backing up (inability to flush toilets), but the drain fields (there are 4 zones) are wet, with an occasional odor. I spent $8000 on this system, and am now being told to either add MORE zones to the current system, or to install a mound system. However, I am also told that the mound system would probably not be approved by the county. Help!! I have the tank pumped yearly. Would your product help in this situation, with an aerator system? Could it possibly have any bad effects? Any experience with a mound system?? Thanks for your help. David
