Septic Scrub has a good chance at helping your system. Since you have had your tank pumped, that part of the project is done. There are several things you need to do before adding the product. First, from the description of your system, I think it must be assumed that some solids and sludge were transferred from the septic tank into the laterals. This sludge basically stays on the inside of the laterals and can block the holes from the pipes to the ground. The only way to remove this sludge is to have the lines jetted. This is a high pressure wash that cleans the inside of the laterals and collects the water and sludge for disposal. Before this proceedure can be done, the drainfield must not be backflowing into the laterals. This occurs when the ground is saturated and holding water. When the pressure is released, it flows from the ground into the laterals. This has to be pumped dry. This process may be done either before or after the jetting, but it is preferred to be done before. When the two steps outlined above are finished, then Septic Scrub can be added to help clean up the biomat and get rid of the buildup of anaerobic material which helps slow drainage. I would suggest adding a bottle of Septic Scrub dissolved in water into the distribution box. Let the product react for a few minutes, and then run a hose for 10-15 minures. Repeat the proceedure for the second bottle immediately. Then add the remaining two bottles according to directions. You will need to watch your system for awhile. If you start to see water backup into the distribution box again, an additional treatment of Septic Scrub may be necessary.
