Your problem sound typical of a system which has a build-up of anaerobic bacterial action in the drainfield. You did not indicate when you tank was last pumped. If you have not had it pumped on a regular basis, you should have it pumped. REgular pumping of a tank is essential to proper operation of a septic system. If the tank fills, the waste water does not have enough time for the solids and greases to seperate before passing through the tank. This means that more dissolved solids, or perhaps suspended solids, are transferred to the drainfield. This is very bad for proper operation of the drainfield. Regular pumping also allows the tank to be inspected, especially the baffles. The baffels are essential for proper operation fo the tank. If you have done this, then Septic Scrub will probably help you improve the flow in your drainfield. A restoration treatment is needed. The pages on our WEB site give directions on how to treat the system. For information on where to purchase, please call be at (888) 35ARCAN.
